Summary

This workspace provides robust search and workspace navigation tools tailored for OpenClaw users. Its structure and selected skills are optimized for enhanced productivity, supporting effective information retrieval, local memory usage, and integration with external systems like GitHub and Apple Reminders.

Included Assets

  • AGENTS.md – Workspace overview & agent behavioral rules for search
  • MEMORY.md – Search agent configuration and tool references
  • SOUL.md – Assistant philosophy and behavioral boundaries
  • TOOLS.md – Inventory and usage of search and note-taking tools
  • Skills directory:
    • database-designer/ – Expert database schema analysis, optimization, and migration
    • openclaw-github-assistant/ – GitHub query and repository management
    • apple-reminders/ – Manage Apple Reminders via remindctl CLI (macOS only)
    • coding/ – Adaptive coding style memory for preferences and conventions

How to Use

  1. Start a Session

    • Read SOUL.md to understand assistant principles.
    • Consult AGENTS.md for session instructions and firm search-first workflow.
  2. Search

    • Always extract keywords from the user's question.
    • Run all relevant web search commands before answering (see TOOLS.md for specific scripts and alternatives).
    • Structure results: include title, source URL, date, and summary.
    • Never answer factual queries without search—strict policy enforced.
    • Use local memory search (MEMORY.md, memory/*.md) for workspace context.
  3. Utilize Skills

    • Database Designer: Place DDL or JSON schemas as required for analysis, index optimization, and migration generation.
    • GitHub Assistant: Set up a personal GitHub token and configure credentials before use (see skill’s README).
    • Apple Reminders: Ensure remindctl is installed on macOS and grant permissions.
    • Coding: Update and apply coding preferences explicitly and only from user confirmation.
  4. Notes and Obsidian Integration

    • Use notesmd-cli for saving structured results to Obsidian vaults (as instructed in workflow docs).

Notes

  • Obey all "search before answer" mandates—never skip required search steps.
  • Many tools require specific local binaries or environment setup (see each skill’s documentation).
  • Token usage queries for third-party APIs may require manual browser authentication.
  • Some listed search tools are deprecated—refer to TOOLS.md and MEMORY.md for current status.
  • The assistant is designed to be genuinely helpful, concise, and never act without context or user confirmation.
