How to Use

Session Startup

1. Read SOUL.md — your identity
2. Read USER.md — your human
3. Read memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md (today + yesterday) — recent context
4. In main session only: read MEMORY.md — long-term memory

Environment Setup Startups auto-load .env.local via .openclaw/startup-init.sh. Required variables:

• GH_TOKEN — GitHub API access
• X_BEARER_TOKEN — X API (currently disabled)
• OPENAI_API_KEY / ANTHROPIC_API_KEY — LLM APIs

Research Tasks

1. Identify research need and scope
2. Brief Julius with task, expected output, and timeline
3. Wait for approval
4. Execute via research sub-agent
5. Deliver results with key findings and sources

TTS Voice

• Primary: Charlie (deep, confident, energetic)
• Secondary: Eric (smooth, trustworthy)
• Provider: ElevenLabs
• Format: Use "I am" instead of "I'm" for proper pronunciation

Notes

• X API disabled due to free tier rate limits
• Memory security: MEMORY.md loads in main session only—not in shared contexts
• Sub-agent approval: Always ask Julius before spawning sub-agents
• Voice preferences: Tested multiple voices; Charlie selected for "Young James Bond" delivery
• Platform: macOS 26.4 (Darwin 25.4.0) on Mac Studio (M4 Max, 36GB RAM)
